On March 24, 2026, Onleihe Rhineland-Palatinate will switch to the new version 3. This change will require some adjustments in how the service is used.

Here's what you can expect:

• A new, clearer design.
• Improved search and filter functions.
• The option to renew media.
• Early return of eAudios.
• Synchronization of reading and game progress between the app and browser.
• Option to save your borrowing history.

What you need to do:

1. App users: Download the new Onleihe 3 app from the App Store/Google Play Store starting March 24, 2026. The old app will no longer work.
2. eReader users: After the changeover, you will need to re-enter the Onleihe code/passphrase once.
