The Mainz Mobile Library is once again inviting seniors to its storytime sessions in the spring of 2026. This free series of events will take place from April 23 to June 12, 2026, and will feature 27 storytime sessions across 13 neighborhoods in Mainz. The series kicks off on April 23, 2026, at 3 p.m. with the opening event for World Book Day 2026 at the Kolpinghaus Mainz, Schönbornsaal.
The focus is on stories about encounters, friendship, family, solidarity, and the small moments of happiness in everyday life. The reading sessions combine listening, remembering, and storytelling, creating space for exchange and community.
