Please note that the library does not assume responsibility for supervising children participating in our events.

This duty of supervision (see Section 832 (2) of the German Civil Code) is expressly not assumed. Of course, we will take the best possible care of your child during the events and ensure that nothing happens to them. However, we must assume that your child is mature enough to participate in the respective event. Otherwise, the library's liability is governed by the statutory provisions.

The staff relies on your child to follow instructions in order to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely. Your child may be excluded from further participation in the event if, for example, instructions are not followed or if other behavior occurs that leads to an unreasonable disruption of the event.

We would also like to point out that the organization of the journey to and from the event is the sole responsibility of the legal guardians.
