The state capital of Mainz has set itself an ambitious goal: climate neutrality. For the long-term transformation of the entire city of Mainz into a climate-neutral society, the active participation of all citizens, organizations, and companies in our five fields of action is crucial.

Climate neutrality can only be achieved if as many members of the urban community as possible are mobilized. The business community, educational institutions, and citizens play a key role in implementing the measures. Only together can we make the vision of a climate-neutral urban community a reality. The vitality and diversity of Mainz's climate protection process is reflected in our 2020 activity report.

We are part of a strong network both within and outside our city. Together, we plan and shape our future, constantly learning from each other in the process.
