Every two years, over 200 international exhibitors gather in Mainz, the city of Gutenberg, to form the largest trading center for small-press books and artist books. For three days, they offer products made on printing presses, some of which are decades old, including new publications, a wide variety of print formats, posters, and artist books.

The hustle and bustle at this central meeting place in Mainz's Rheingoldhalle is always a cultural event: whether cultural or specialist events, workshops or panel discussions, the focus is always on the latest ideas and trends in publishing literature and art – and, of course, there is a whole range of readings!
