Mainzer Steiger/ship moorings
There are currently eleven boat docks in Mainz, known as the “Mainzer Steiger.” Seven of them are owned by shipping companies, and the remaining four belong to us: We are responsible for their management, coordination, and maintenance, as well as for handling booking requests.
Shore power now also in Mainz
Since summer 2024, our barges have been equipped with shore power – funded by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs. Ships in Mainz are required to use shore power if they are moored for 30 minutes or longer.
