Self-protection & prevention
Natural disasters, chemical accidents, major fires, and floods pose a major challenge for us all. Authorities and (aid) organizations take precautionary measures in such cases. Fire departments and rescue services are on standby every day to provide assistance and respond to particularly dangerous situations. Nevertheless, it is possible that rescue efforts may be delayed by unforeseeable events.
To be prepared for such a situation, we recommend stocking up on the following items:
- Drinking water
- Non-perishable food
- Hygiene products
- Essential medication
- Flashlight
- Batteries
- Radio
- Camping stove
Supplies should be sufficient for at least three days. Please also remember baby food and pets!
