Founded by Laurenz Burkhardt and David Timm, the restaurant embodies the spirit of adventure and culinary discoveries of its fictional namesakes, Mali and Milo. Together, they blend global culinary inspirations into a menu that offers something for every taste. The cozy, simple boho design creates a true oasis of comfort. Clean lines, light colors, and natural materials create a relaxed atmosphere—ideal for a quick break, whether for breakfast, during lunch, or over a leisurely dinner.
Classic dishes are reinterpreted at "Mali and Milo"
The ingredients are sourced from local producers whenever possible, making every dish a special treat. Any surplus food is offered through the "Too Good To Go" app or donated to the Mainzer Tafel to prevent food waste.
Lovingly designed children's area
Families will also find plenty to enjoy here. A lovingly designed children’s area with toys provides entertainment for our youngest guests. A separate changing room with free hygiene products is also available for moms and dads. A special children’s menu is available, and thanks to our accessible facilities, everyone can feel welcome.
The expanded area is not only intended for families but is also designed to be a space for culture and socializing. With room for up to 55 people, it’s perfect for events. Poetry slams, readings, or stand-up comedy—just ask if you’re interested.
