What are the building standards?

The building standards serve as guidelines for both internal and external project participants throughout the entire project process, from planning and construction to the management phase. By taking a comprehensive view of a building's life cycle, both in terms of construction technology and costs, more economical and energy-efficient construction is made possible.

They represent a minimum standard and must be complied with in accordance with the currently applicable laws, regulations, and generally accepted rules of technology.

Note on processing the building standards

The building standards are currently undergoing a fundamental revision in order to update their content, restructure them, and expand them to include additional topics. The new topics are currently being worked on and will be added and published gradually. Along with adding new content, the existing chapters are also being regularly checked and revised. This makes sure that the building standards stay up-to-date, practical, and easy to use.
