Fully booked! Registration portal for the Drei-Brücken-Lauf powered by BioNTech closed
The registration portal for the "Mainz Three Bridges Run", which will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026 as part of St. John's Night, opened just a few days ago - and is already fully booked after just a few days. No more new registrations can be made.
The 8.1-kilometer race follows Mainz’s famous “Three Bridges Loop,” starting at the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke, continuing via Maaraue and the Kostheimer Brücke, and returning over the Eisenbahnbrücke to the Fischtor, the finish line.
There are a few new features this year: BioNTech is supporting the race for the first time as the new main and “powered by” partner. A specially designed logo further increases the race’s visibility.
Please note: The start time has also been moved up to 9:30 a.m.
Enormous demand right from the start
Due to extremely high demand, the registration limit has already been reached—we are currently unable to accept new registrations, so the registration portal is offline.
The Sports Administration’s organizing team asks for your understanding.
Race numbers for those who have already successfully registered can be picked up on the days leading up to the race, namely
- on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and
- on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
from the partner of the Mainz Three Bridges Run powered by BioNTech, “LEX Laufexperten,” at Göttelmannstraße 13, 55131 Mainz-Weisenau.
On the day of the event, kits will be distributed in the area near the entrance to the Rathaus underground parking garage from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. A confirmation of participation is required for pickup; if a representative is picking up the kit, a power of attorney or a copy of the representative’s ID is also required.
Timing is done electronically via a chip in the race number. Following the race, the awards ceremony will take place, during which the top three women and men will be honored.
Results and digital certificates can be accessed and printed online on the day of the race at mainz.de/dreibrueckenlauf.
Sports department also organizes the 34th run
As always, the Mainz Three Bridges Run powered by BioNTech is organized by the Sports Department of the State Capital of Mainz. Once again this year, TV Kostheim 1877 e.V. will be providing a water station at Maaraue.
The race is supported by BioNTech, the LEX running experts who will distribute isotonic drinks and energy bars at the finish line, NOVUM – The Organic Delivery Service, which will hand out bananas and apples in the finish area, and the Volkswagen Center Mainz.
