Mainz presents new investment report
The City of Mainz has presented its investment report for the year 2025. Compared to the previous year, the report has been significantly expanded and provides a clear overview of the city's entrepreneurial activities. Mayor Köbler: "We are thus creating even more transparency.
Mayor and Head of the Department of Municipal Holdings Daniel Köbler: “We provide citizens with clear and comprehensive information about the economic activities and strategic direction of municipal companies and holdings. Our goal is to create even greater transparency with this year’s report.”
For this reason, the investment report has been significantly expanded. In addition to the previous year’s report, numerous indirect corporate investments of at least 5% have been included. This explains why the report’s scope has nearly doubled.
“We plan to continue expanding the investment report in the future,” emphasizes Mayor Köbler. “In doing so, the City of Mainz underscores our commitment to open communication and transparent reporting.”
The 2025 Investment Report will be publicly presented to the Committee on Finance and Investments on April 28, 2026. At the same time, it will be made available to all interested parties on the city’s website.
The report was prepared in close collaboration between the City of Mainz’s investment management team and the individual companies. In addition to basic company data, it presents, among other things, key financial indicators, investment structures, and relevant developments during the reporting period.
