Night-time full closure of Binger Straße between Aliceplatz and Münsterplatz
From 07.04.2026 to 10.04.2026, the contact wire for the new streetcar line will be installed in Binger Straße. For this purpose, the entire area between Aliceplatz and Münsterplatz will be fully closed from 21:00 to 05:00.
Motorized private traffic heading toward the city center will be rerouted via Alicenplatz – Parcusstraße – Gärtnergasse – Große Bleiche or Kaiserstraße – Bauhofstraße – Große Bleiche. Traffic heading toward Saarstraße will be rerouted via Gärtnergasse – Kaiserstraße – Parcusstraße – Alicenplatz or Bauhofstraße – Kaiserstraße. Access to and from Bilhildisstraße remains possible. A detour route for cyclists will be signposted on site. Pedestrians may pass through the construction site.
