You must apply for a library card in person. The Anna Seghers Public Library and the five district libraries are open to everyone. The Academic City Library is open to everyone aged 10 and above.

All libraries are open to the public and offer a comprehensive range of literature and information services. Internet workstations are available for use.

We usually issue library cards immediately.

Library card for adults: 12 euros per year
Library card for minors: free of charge

Additional costs are incurred for special services (copies, reproduction orders, interlibrary loans).
