The guidelines for granting subsidies to support vacation, recreational, and leisure activities for children and adolescents in the state capital of Mainz are currently being revised.
Please note that subsidies can only be granted within the limits of the budgetary funds available for the respective vacation period.
You can apply for grants for vacation, leisure, and recreational activities for children and young people (excluding school trips) at the Office for Youth and Family and the Office for Social Services of the State Capital of Mainz. You may apply for a grant only once per calendar year per child and activity.
Through funding under these guidelines, the City of Mainz aims to contribute to a restful and enriching vacation and leisure experience for children and youth from families with limited financial means.
Amount of Funding
Within the limits of available budgetary funds, the City of Mainz subsidizes vacation, leisure, and recreational activities up to a participant fee of 260 euros.

Please submit your application at least 2 weeks before the start of the activity. Please use the application form provided and attach the required documents.
