On October 13, 2022, all interested children, parents, and residents were invited to an on-site meeting at the playground. The subsequent renovation work was completed as planned by the end of 2023, and the official opening of the playground took place during a press event on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., hosted by Deputy Mayor Janina Steinkrüger and Deputy Mayor Dr. Eckart Lensch together with Local Council Chairwoman Sissi Westrich.
