The Municipal Prevention Council (KPR) sees itself as a network and coordination center that brings together relevant actors to jointly develop solutions for local security and prevention issues. The aim is to identify and reduce factors that contribute to crime in order to improve citizens' quality of life by strengthening their sense of security. Regular exchange and the pooling of knowledge and resources are intended to result in sustainable strategies and projects for crime prevention.
Tasks of the Municipal Preventive Council:
- Establishment of a network of representatives from institutions, organizations, and specialist agencies that contribute to crime prevention
- Promoting the exchange of information and experience between all stakeholders
- Coordinating and supporting projects to strengthen security and cohesion
- Developing, supporting, and implementing prevention measures
