As a citizen, you can visit the information center to discuss benefit issues without making an appointment in advance. We will advise you and provide you with the relevant application documents or accept them from you. We will forward
the submitted documents to the relevant department at the office. We will
also name the person responsible for processing your case and provide you with their contact details.

Through the information and advice center, we want to ensure low-threshold access to benefits and needs-based care.

We provide advice on the following benefits:

• Basic security in old age and in the event of reduced earning capacity
• Assistance with living expenses
• Housing allowance
• Funeral costs
• Education and participation package
• Issuing of application forms for advance maintenance payments

We will supplement our advisory services at a later date with information on parental allowance.

The advisory service also includes checking priority entitlement to housing benefit and distinguishing between entitlement to benefits from the Jobcenter (SGB II).
