As the lower waste authority, we are responsible for the enforcement and monitoring of waste legislation (Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act and associated regulations). In the area of nature conservation, we also handle the reporting, verification and certification of protected species, their parts and products in accordance with the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
