The Peter Cornelius Music School is the largest music school in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Currently, approximately 100 teachers instruct more than 4,500 students. All teachers have a degree in music education.

In the study department, you can obtain a degree as a "state-certified music teacher," among other qualifications. Children and young people who are considering the possibility of professional music training can complete preparatory training (SVA) here.
