The facility's contact café is open regularly five days a week during the day. The emergency shelter is open 365 days a year. In its 25th year of existence, the café continues to be a contact point for drug users, offering various survival assistance services, serving as a meeting place for the community, and providing low-threshold access to drug assistance.
Target group: adults who are at risk, impaired, or harmed by the use of psychoactive substances under illegal conditions, as well as those undergoing substitution therapy who cannot be reached through structured, higher-threshold counseling services.
Specific support and assistance includes:
Contact café
- Day stay, provision of inexpensive drinks and meals, showers and laundry facilities, syringe exchange, small clothing store, and telephone access.
- Establishing contact and brief counseling
- Basic care
- Health counseling (safer use/advice on safer substance use and harm reduction),
- Information events (e.g., "Talk in the Café")
- Behavioral motivation of clients
- Leisure activities
Emergency shelter for men and women
- Clearing, admission, referral
- Night care
- On-call service, crisis intervention
Outreach work
- Street work
- External consultation hours at the substitution outpatient clinic
- External support and outreach work
Initial and brief counseling
- Clearing, clarification of motivation, and referral
- Information and counseling on all addiction-related topics
- Crisis intervention
Long-term counseling
- Counseling and psychosocial care for people with addiction disorders
- Psychosocial support for people undergoing substitution therapy
- Support with administrative matters, finding accommodation, debt, legal problems
